This Saturday, September 21, we invite you to join thousands of people around the world for the International Coastal Cleaup event, in order to reduce and recognize the waste on our beaches.
This activity will take place in the northern part of Tortuga Beach, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. The meeting point will be on the north side, directly on the beach.
?We will offer free transportation (round trip) from Escuela Tortuga to the north area of Playa Tortuga.
What to bring?
✔ Water, sunscreen, mosquito repellent.
✔To collect inorganic wastes bring: reusable gloves, reusable bags, OR BETTER STILL: your own reusable plastic bucket. Also bring your reusable glass for sodas.

Reserva Playa Tortuga is a non-profit biological research and education center formed in 2009 by community members (“citizen scientists”) and Costa Rican scientists.
